Parsimonious Sims 3 Houses: 129
items
Kate reports: My promise to be done with updating our menu categories turned out to be somewhat premature! Ambitions didn't help me decide which ones would work as well as I'd hoped, but I have settled on a new scheme which will hopefully suit us and those of you looking for community lots! We now have a few new Ambitions lots up for you to play with - those of you who aren't finding your games locking up every 5 minutes that is! With the current batch of bugs I've decided now is not a good time to be fussing with Sims 3 furniture so instead I've made time for something I've wanted to do for months, and that is get to know all the tomb building tools. My first attempt at tomb building can be downloaded here. It's rare I say something which is frankly asking for trouble, but IF you do play Millington Manor then I would appreciate hearing your feedback on your Sims experience with it! So if your Sims got stuck, or if you found it too easy, too difficult or if something didn't work as you expected, let me know. You can either leave a message on my guest book, or email me directly. Lot Sizes
Our base game lots have all been designed to fit in the standard Sunset Valley lots. World Adventures lots may use some of the slightly different location lot sizes, however as Ambitions allows for additional lots to be added to a neighbourhood and with Create-A-World allowing for all sorts of possible lot sizes, there no longer seems a need for our newer Expansion lots to comply with the original lot sizes. Check your in-game lessons if you need help in adding a new blank lot to your neighbourhood. Custom Content in Our Lots
After much debate we have decided not to use any store content in our lots. Whilst obviously our house builders long for more choice and there are some nice bits and pieces available on the official site, the bottom line is that we do not use content we cannot include with our houses. Requiring our visitors to buy pay content to use in our lots is a definite no-no. We will be using community custom content in our lots from time to time, including objects and patterns from Parsimonious, but we officially promise to use these very sparingly and to only using very good quality items so as to not clutter up your games with items you can't so easily delete with the slow and clunky Launcher. You will NEVER need to install items separately using the package file framework - we do not have files on this site for Sims 3 which come in a package file format. |
