Parsimonious Sims 3 Houses: 141 items

After much debate we have decided not to use any store content in our lots as we do not use pay files we can't distribute, in our houses! We will be using community custom content in our lots from time to time, including objects, walls, floors, terrains and patterns from Parsimonious, but we officially promise to use these very sparingly so as to not clutter up your games with items you can't so easily delete with the slow and clunky Launcher.

Recently I have reorganized our community lots into new categories (please refresh to get the updated menu)

  • Collector Lots - for shopping, harvesting, digging, catching and otherwise collecting and buying stuff
  • Self-Improvement & Services - lots that provide for those important life events, betterment and learning for Sims of all ages
  • Social - places for your Sims to hang out, chat and have fun!

    Installation Help
  • Click on the preview photos of items you want
  • Unzip them and either double click to install them individually
  • Or... put them in your Downloads folder and install them with the Launcher *

    • * Information is available in our Support Area for players who don't want to or can't use the Launcher

    All items are in a sims3pack format which you can install with the launcher
    Expansion Requirements

    Please note that we do not have an expansion filter like we do for our Sims 2 Houses, however Sims 3 houses 'degrade' their included contents to remove EP/SP items so you can use them without a particular pack provided that your game is patched to the appropriate level to support the house. Currently the patch requirements are not listed, it is something that will hopefully be added in the future, otherwise you can assume that each lot probably requires the latest patches released at the time it was made.

    Creating houses with a specific EP requirement is also a little tricky, remembering to avoid using items that come with certain EP's when decorating (especially since the Outdoor Stuff and Ambitions icons do look similar when tired). Please treat the listed EP's in the lot information as a 'likely' requirement, not a guarenteed one! As in the lot is 'likely' to work without other packs and shouldn't be missing a heap of stuff shown in the previews. If it is, please email support@parsimonious.org and let us know.
