Here you can download sets of furniture for The Sims 1. Please be aware that some objects, especially community lot objects that have custom NPCs, will also include skins parts (cmx, bmp and skn files), these should be installed into your gamedata/skins directory. Instructions are available in our Support Area.
Some single items include multiple files in the zip. Make sure you install all of them into the correct folders

Kate says: Frequently you lot ask me when the next Sims 1 update will be or why there aren't more updates for Sims 1 (grrr), but when I attempt to explain how busy I am, at no point does anyone ever say "What can I do to help?". Anyway, I'm going to pretend that you are all wondering what you can do to help, since I'm perpetually swamped with site chores and lots of new creation methods to learn (some people *do* play The Sims 3 you know...), I'm going to struggle to find time to make you anything at all without some assistance.
The following sets need new photos to be compliant with our V3 layout - i.e. 600x450 in size. I have either lost my originals, or the originals are all cropped down smaller than the size I need. What would be very helpful, if some kind player(s) could arrange the items in the set and take a screen shot in game. The output will need to be at least 600x450 in size in a bitmap format please email it to me (zipped is probably a good idea). It is ideal if community lot sets can have Sims in them, so people know that the set is actually functional and not just looking pretty in build/buy mode:-
As an incentive, anyone who does actually help out (my hopes aren't high, since you lot have an appalling track record when it comes to me asking for your help), gets the option to submit a list of any Essentials items (up to 25 items) they'd like for a 3rd collection (i.e. deco clutter items like these sets here and here). I don't promise to make them all, but I will try!
