Here you can download clothing and heads for The Sims 1. Instructions for installing these items are available in our Support Area.

Please be aware that although we have included meshes in all our downloads, many are not from the original sources and as such may not be in original working condition. If you find that any items you download from here do not work, you are advised to delete them immediately from your game files. No technical support will be provided for issues caused by using these skins.

Make sure if you do delete any items from your Skins folder, that you do not leave 'orphan' files behind. More information about this and other Create-A-Sim issues can be found here in our Support area.

To try and deal with many over-due problems, we are intending to make a great many changes to Parsimonious later in 2010.

In order to try and manage the additional work for this section, it is likely that some older, less popular items will be removed and therefore will not be available on this site to download. Currently future updates of Sims 1 fashion updates are not planned for 2010 and beyond, but we have not yet taken a firm decision to archive this section permanently either.

It is our intention to do a thorough check of all mesh files included with our skins, in order to fix/replace any that are broken and to remove any where we cannot provide a safe mesh for the skins created. We will be asking all of you to raid your Skins directories to help us recover working copies of broken meshes so if you've been a long time hoarder of Sim clothing and heads, please stay tuned for more information!
