Parsimonious Sims 1 Fashion: 967 items

Here you can download clothing and heads for The Sims 1. Instructions for installing these items are available in our Support Area.

Please be aware that the heads currently online are going to be removed when the next version of this site goes live. Currently the new version has been in development for around 2 years (it takes a long time to do so much data entry, new photos, fixing old files, designing new templates, creating new server scripts, dealing with browser compliance etc). At this point in time I do not have a fixed date of when this removal will happen, but it is likely to be in Q1 or Q2 2012, possibly as early as January, hopefully no later than June... well here's hoping anyway. They will NOT be available on request thereafter so please get anything you might want now.

This section overall was treated to a major spring clean earlier in 2011. A number of items were removed because of mesh conflicts (not dangerous, but definitely annoying). In-game testing did not turn up any white skins, but I did identify a couple of no-show items which have also been taken offline. A number of zips had the wrong mesh files in, this has now been corrected. Bucket-loads of read-me files have been deleted where the originating site no longer exists. I've also decided to pull the high heel variants of Jerome's b200, b300 and b004 from our zips, even though many of the preview photos show the heeled version. I figure those who want the high heeled choices probably have the mesh by now, those who don't will just find it annoying having to throw the unwanted meshes out of every download (you can still get them from his website if you want these meshes but don't have them).

It is NOT advised to over-write meshes you already have in your game with the meshes included in our files
Future Updates

As noted above all existing heads are being removed, they will be replaced by a selection of new items next year, but it is highly unlikely there will be any more clothing updates. Quite simply I loathe and despise making Sims 1 skins, it is a wretched chore I only do on sufferance because an object set I've made requires an NPC!

I do apologize for the lack of labeling on the updated previews, this is something that should be fixed at some point in the future (2012). As a reminder, any skins that start with a f, s, h, l or w are buyable skins and should be installed to your ExpansionShared\SkinsBuy folder along with their corresponding meshes.
