Here you can download walls & floors for The Sims 1. Instructions for installing these items are available in our Support Area.

Over the years I've done my best to try and come up with sensible ways of categorizing our walls & floors. The current system divides items into broad style categories (some of them aren't always very fitting even so), however the next version of this website is going to see the end of this sorting, instead there will be a single category for walls and a single category for floors (or possibly both combined if I'm feeling especially lazy). This change is expected to take place before 2012.

If you're not sure what a particular category is all about, you can write to me (as many visitors have done in the past), or you could be adventurous and have a look! A radical idea I know, but I promise nothing bad will happen if you click on a menu option!

Please note that the floor previews show the diagonal tiling view you see in game, not the original flat graphic that was used to make them (since that can look quite different from the resulting view in game). The wall previews are also based on the diagonal facing view as seen in game (in 8bit colour) rather than the original image.

It is my on-going hope that there will never be any further updates to this section. Mostly because I'm the one who'd have to make them and I dislike making Sims 1 walls and floors because the colours are all squishy and no one ever downloads 90% of them. It's quite possible some furniture set I decide to make or another is going to require items which we just don't have, so there may be some new items later on, but I will be trying to do everything I can to avoid it!
