Kate says: Over the years I've done my best to try and come up with sensible ways of categorizing our walls & floors - the current menu represents my latest effort! Each icon represents a different style idea and you can find walls & floors that suit that style in it.

If you're not sure what a particular category is all about, you can write to me (as many visitors have done in the past), or you could be adventurous and have a look! A radical idea I know, but I promise nothing bad will happen if you click on a menu option!

Please note this section does not have sets available nor do I plan to add them - there are simply too few visitors to this section to justify the time and effort it would take to organize them.

Kate says: Making walls and floors for Sims 1, for me, is a tedious waste of time. Unfortunately they are a necessary evil because each new Sims 1 furniture set demands it's own coordinates (if it doesn't then visitors soon do the demanding for it). It is a waste of time because a set of coordinates of any size, takes me nearly as long to make as a full furniture set, but very few people actually download them (less than 200 downloads in an entire month).

Perhaps it was a step too far to insist that any applicant to make Sims 1 walls and floors must also be willing to make Sims 2 items (more accurately the other way around, for a Sims 2 wall and floor creator to convert their creations for Sims 1, as the Sims 1 isn't required to use Homecrafter). We are a pretty exclusive bunch these days at Parsim and since the process is much the same, it seemed logical to have just one person for both sections. Nevertheless the vacancy was open for more than 2 years, after which time even I have given up hope of finding someone who can make really good material.

To this end there will be updates from me from time to time, however it's quite possible that I won't waste time listing them in the update listing as there is virtually no one here to pay any attention - most of the downloads for this section come directly through Sims 1 Furniture anyway!
